My personal special recipe...

Sleeping
I am tired. I did not feel well all day. My nose is stuffed and I feel drowsy too. So I decided to skip gym today and get some rest. I don't even know why I got ill, maybe because it's spring and temperature changes all day long...up and down. Or maybe because I'm on low carb diet this week. Today I got a protein drink and an apple in the morning and just four boiled eggs during the day. Dinner consisted of fish salad, some veggies and again a protein drink.

Today I'll share with you my personal formula for getting well fast!...

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have any special way you take care of yourself when you don't feel good or when you are sick?

Six Pack
One of the challenges I have, like most other guys that lift weights, is to deal with the feeling of "smallness."  On my journey to the land of six pack I have to go through the valley of shedding useless pounds of body fat. One of my friends jokes when someone suggests that he needs to get in shape, - " Round is a shape!" : )
Have you ever felt like that? How did you deal with it?

HAPPINESS IS A BYPRODUCT OF ACTIVITY...

  • Mar. 10th, 2008 at 7:56 AM
Waterfall

Happiness lies in the joy of achievement,
in the thrill of creative effort.
The human spirit needs to accomplish,
to achieve, to triumph to be happy.

Happiness does not come from doing easy work.

but from the afterglow of satisfaction
that comes after the achievement
of a difficult task that demands your best.

Your personal growth itself contains the seed of happiness.
You cannot pursue happiness by itself.
There is no happiness except in the realization
that you have accomplished something.

Happiness thrives in activity.

Whatever it takes...

It amazes me how my life changed just because I decided to find my six pack. I do believe that it's not so much the goal of getting what I desire that is important, but what I become in the process of reaching the goal.

Pigging out...

I let myself off the leash for two days, no reason in particular. I guess everyone who strives for getting his or hers body into better shape has days like this.

NO MORE FAT ; )

Looks like everyone is all about "fat FREE"

Fat free this, fat free that...milk, candies, cheese, soup and on and on it goes...well, let me tell you what I found out: NOT all FAT is so BAD!
In fact some of the fat is not only good, but it's essential for my body to function, it's even called that, essential fats. That's why I make sure I get my omega 3 and omega 6   every day, especially when I am dieting. What made me lose my six pack is not so much fat, but it is carbohydrates, and a lot of them, I confess. So I am cutting out on carbs and milk for that matter so I can get to my goal on time.

What's your take on that? Let me know...

Usually when I get up in the morning, first thing I do is drink two glasses of water and than one table spoon of Neways Maximol Solutions to get me going. This morning was no different. Looks like I will have great day...

How about you, how do you start your day? Do you do something every morning or is it always different?

Your success will always be connected with your actions.
Just keep moving towards your goal.
You'll make mistakes but don't ever quit.
You may even have to hang on after others have let go.

Persistence means taking pains to overcome every obstacle,
to do all that's necessary to reach your goal.

In the end, the only people who fail are those that do not try.

All great achievement takes time and persistence.

We left this morning very early and drove through the snow about half of the way. Every one is still sore from all the skiing, so after church we all took a family nap. I'm taking Neways Recovery Plus to deal with soreness.

BEING SUCCESSFUL IS A CHOICE YOU MAKE

  • Feb. 18th, 2008 at 9:42 PM
Six Pack

Your success isn't a matter of luck,
it's simply a matter of the choices you make.
Success isn't something you can wait for,
it's something you'll achieve with effort over time.
Things won't turn up in this world until you turn them up.

You can choose to be lazy or ambitious.
Stop and think about your choice again.
You always do your own choosing.

The great opportunity in your life is where you are right now.
Every situation, properly perceived, is an opportunity for you.

First, say to yourself what you would be,
then do what you have to do to make things happen.

Success is right in front of you.

It's so important to have encouragement along the bumpy road of getting back my six pack. I was surfing the web today and stumbled upon other blogger who is also on the same journey!

How about you, did you find any like minded people on the web?
Maybe they are thousands of miles away, but suddenly you feel a kindred spirit, let me know...

This one is a biggie! You know that measuring tape can’t lie, neither can scales, neither do pictures. I see the reality and it sets me free. I can see if I am going forward or backwards or just standing still in my search for the six pack.

The main reason I have failed in finding my six pack in the past was the lack of accountability. I would start my exercise and dieting program with great inspiration, but then…

Mainly it means higher protein intake, “wave” carb intake and sufficient supply of good fat, with reduction of bad fat. I found that Neways International is producing the best supplements on the market to support overall health.
What supplements do you use to stay healthy?

How did I lose my six pack in the first place? Well, by eating more than I can use the same day, that’s all.

My body can’t just evaporate or dispose of extra calories into a thin air. So what my body did is stored it in the form of fat. Great fuel in bad times! However, how many famines did USA had in the last 30 years?

Six Pack

In the next five posts I wanted to elaborate more about my five keys to find my six pack.

I want to do that in order to dispel a myth that there is a “magic bullet” or a pill that can make you muscular or thin without any effort on your part. Anything in life is acquired by focused effort and change in   lifestyle in order to reach a desired goal. There is no shortcuts and anyone who tells you that is lying to you so you could buy something from them. Some companies call it marketing, in my dictionary it’s called deception.

Have you ever tried something that was advertised as a panacea and than you were disappointed?

1.Heavy lifting to increase muscle mass.
2.Cardio exercises.
3.Proper nutrition and supplementation.
4.Daily blog posts.
5.Weekly picture taking. Waist measurement and weight checks.

Considering that I’ve tried to do it many times and failed most of the times, it’s important for me to get your input. So how do you do it, if you already reached your goal or what do you consider to be a stumbling block that stopped you from getting there. Feel free to leave your comments.
