Am I really committed?

I am upset
By now I came to grip with the idea of working really hard on my six pack. I have to tell you that I thought it would be easier this time. When I was in my early twenties it took some effort, but it was nothing like I am going through right now.

If he can do what he is doing, I'll do what ever it takes to find my six pack!

The goal must be emotional, that is why I did not set my main goal to lose weight or something like that...has no emotional appeal.
That is the reason so many people give up on their dreams and goals. They have no fire inside them.

However to find my six pack again, aha - that is charged with feelings, that makes me going.

My first workout this year...

Six Pack

It's official now! 
I am setting a GOAL to find my six pack by my 33rd birthday which will be May 3rd of 2008. I don't know if it is really significant or it's just symbolic to me, that Jesus finished His earthly ministry at the same age, but if it will help me to get where I want, hey I'll remember that. 

Now to get anything in life I found out I have to set a goal. It's elementary, if I don't know what I am trying to hit, chances are I am going to miss it. If I don't know where I am going, I am sure I will end up in a place I don't want to be. So setting a goal for me is imperative. It's 120 days from now till May 3rd. I don't think that I am unrealistic in what I am aiming at, but I do realize it will cost me a lot. 

Part of that price is going to a gym and working out. 

I'll be uncovering my six pack at Y here in Meridian. It has everything I need for muscle training. I have decided that I will combine cardio with strength training at the same time. I did bike for 15 minutes first to warm up and to burn some calories. Later, just for fun, I'll let you know how long it takes me to burn some of the things I swallow in seconds. I am going to follow split system which means upper body one day, lower body the other. Today is my legs that were in need of serious workout. I've done some leg presses on two different machines and also worked on quadriceps and leg biceps. 
Got really sore right away! My body is feeling the stress and I realized that I was out of gym for too long. 

I know I'll be sore for few days...
